America's "Queen of Suspense" delivers a genuine nail biter featuring Nell MacDermott, a young congressional hopeful with psychic powers, and her husband, Adam Cauliff, a successful architect. Adam, along with a few of his closest business associates, dies when his luxurious cabin cruiser explodes in New York harbor. Nell is obviously devastated. But her grief is compounded by the fact that she and Adam had a heated argument shortly before his death. Desperate to to make amends, Nell follows the advice of her psychic aunt, who has suggested she visit a medium through whom she can communicate with Adam. In the meantime, however, a police investigation has determined that the boat's explosion was not a tragic accident but a result of foul play. With Adam's help, Nell begins her own search for the truth behind his death. And with any luck, she will find the killer before her husband's fate becomes her own.
