Some of these tales are interesting, some predictable, some tedious. I did find the actual medical information quite interesting. The writing style wore on me a little as there was a predictably tongue-in-cheek, inside-joke quality. I'd call this a perfectly decent book to set somewhere and read a chapter or two, then lay it down. It is not gripping enough for me to continue reading for long.
