I couldn't wait to finish this book but not because I liked the storyline. It held my interest but I did scan parts that were boring.
I did not like Jane, the narrator nor most of the characters involved except Noah her lawyer and a reporter Peter.
Jane was imprisoned for killing her mother but was free on a technicality after 10 years. She changed her name and looks and began a search in an isolated town in South Dakota, wanting to know who her mother really was and if indeed she did kill her.
I couldn't believe the dreadful ending!! It was outrageous and unbelievable! There can't always be happy endings, but this one is appalling!
