Weaver's Needle by Robin Caroll
Landry Parker is a recovery specialist. She needs to be able to keep her doors open and the perfect, well-paying job has just come in. The Widow Winslet is a rather unusual client and has hired another specialist as well. May the best manâor in her case, womanâwin.
Nickolai Baptiste really needs a quick influx of cash. As a retired cop, he's not sure if this Winslet deal crosses the line into interference of an open case. But when the challenge is thrown out...he decides to go for it.
This story takes our characters from New Orleans to Apache Junction, Arizona. To the territory of legends. And danger.
I enjoy reading books in familiar areas. Places I can âseeâ in my mind as I read. This takes place in the Superstition Mountains. Mountains where the curves in the road really are tight and sharp. I loved learning more about the Lost Dutchman Gold.
