This is one of the weaker books in this series, mainly because not much happens in this one. It picks up towards the end (and ends). Be interesting to see what happens with Rick. I was glad Kitty is back in Denver and putting down more roots.
My biggest disappointment was with the whole Darren storyline. I wanted to shake and slap Kitty. Her wolf gave her a warning, did she listen, nah. She repeatedly excuses his behavior. It was disappointing, because Kitty is usually not stupid. I did like the resolution and it shows why Kitty is in the position she is in.
