The prey doesn't know it's being hunted.
Kitty, Ben and Cormac travel to London for an international conference where Kitty is to be a keynote speaker. Master vampires from all over the world are present giving Kitty a chance to see who has sided with Roman for the Long Game.
Trouble follows Kitty wherever she goes. Her quest for Roman's location is aided by Master vampires that do not wish to follow the game. The conference seems almost a set up and I am a little surprised that kitty agreed to attend. The addition of new allies and a few new enemies makes this an interesting read. I agree that the Cormac/Amelia storyline is a little creepy. I like Cormac when he is big, bad and hunting. London's Master vampire, Ned, is an intriguing character. I like that he knew Shakespeare but does not claim to be anything more than a mere actor.
I go back and read earlier books in this series again and again simply because I enjoy them so much. I always look forward to the next one.
