Jeremy Malory needs a thief to steal back some jewels. He finds one in the slums of London. What he doesn't know is that the young thief he has chosen is not a lad...but a girl dressed as a lad. They are thrown together and through circumstances she becomes his maid. She is not the usual kind of female. Having disguised herself as a male for so many years she has seen the male side of things. She can think as a male. Startling! In helping her to better herself he becomes enchanted with her.
Someone has found out where she is. Someone who knows who she really is. She doesn't even know who she really is. The plot thickens.
