A contemporary romance that's thin on plot and more a showcase for a trio of friends who end up in a menage relationship. Contains mmf action. Rob, Ally and Jackson all have baggage, but ultimately their friendship-turned-menage romance was complicated due to immaturity and impulsive choices. Several aspects of their backgrounds were not explored as well as they could have been to bring more depth into their characters and make it a better story overall. Pearce usually does a much better job at writing heart-pounding descriptive sexual encounters, and although the sex was plentiful, the episodes fell way short of satisfying. A so-so read. 3 stars.
