Youngest brother, Jeb, the wild one, marries the pretty schoolteacher, Chloe Wakefield, only to discover that she's already married. They split after a doozy of a dustup in a Tombstone barroom, and an irate Jeb hightails it back to the Triple M Ranch, certain that his chances of winning the spread in a marriage-and-baby race with his brothers are dashed. Now, Chloe comes to Indian Rock, hoping to find her beloved Uncle John and a much-needed teaching post. Passion and rage flare when Jeb and Chloe unexpectedly cross paths. Ultimately, a stagecoach robbery and the return of a dangerous stranger prove to them that they need each other to love and honor as long as they both shall live.
