I have read several of Tyler's novels and she never fails to draw intriguing and convincing characters and situations. In this novel, she mixes strikingly different world cultures with family cultures in a way which fully illuminates the dynamics between her characters. She has created a story that fits the melting pot of the 21st century to a tee, I highly recommend this book to anyone who appreciates cultural diversity and family drama!
