Boone Drake is back, and is now a bureau chief in the Chicago Police Department. His life is going well at work and home. But then tragedy strikes and he must decide between taking care of his wife or working a personal case.

I thought this book was great. The story moved at a good pace and kept the reader wanting to know what would happen next. I felt sorry for Boone and his constant troubles, but all was well in the end. I hope there will be a sequel.
