Thirty-something Lady Margaret, a product of the British artistocracy, and now a member of the social elite in Manhattan, seems to have an attraction for murder. In this latest adventure, Lady Margaret's friend Dianne is receiving unwanted gifts and calls from a stalker. The situation quickly turns from serious to deadly when Dianne's look-alike sister is murder in front of Dianne's apartment building. Without a second thought, Lady Margaret jumps into the case but without her usual support. Her policeman beau and consultant Sam De Vere has been out of touch for several days on pressing police business. Is Lady Margaret getting involved in something she can't handle?? Light and fluffy, this is a quick, amusing read.
