While on a two year excursion on the family yacht, Cat and his family pull into a South American port for engine repair, English speaking Denny helps them get the part they need and request help to get him back home. In the quiet of the early morning a boat approaches and Cat is shot and left for dead and upon awakening finds his wife and daughter murdered. After his recovery late one night he receives a phone call with only one word spoken, "Daddy", Stuart Woods always gives a good story and this one is no exception.
