I found this book fascinating. However, it is suggested that one take anything from any purported "psychic" with a grain of salt. I liked the book well enough to research Sylvia Browne in depth, and it seems that she is, while not one of the world's greatest psychics, one of the world's greatest frauds. stopsylviabrowne.com has testimonials from many people who have done business with her, and where she isn't merely inaccurate, it seems that she manufactures her ideas out of whole cloth.

That said, the book was fascinating (if, as I suspect, made up), and her ideas about the afterlife and the spirit world are ideas that many people, including myself, would find comforting. It's a really great read for spiritual comfort and interest in the spirit world / world of the paranormal. Just don't get suckered in by Sylvia Browne herself.
