This is an intriguing suspense story that probes the various comforts & difficulties & kinds of relationships that are "indivisible." I found it gave me a lot to think about: are any of my relationships indivisible? & if not, what would it be like to severe those relationships. I found the suspense kept me reading & the concepts raised kept me thinking! A good combination. I highly recommend this book. Caveat: this book is not for the squeamish as it does describe some animal cruelty.
