I have to say that I was a bit disappointed by Heaven Sent. I really like the Dark Elves series and Mykles' writing style, so I thought I would enjoy the Heaven series as well. Unfortunately, this story didn't work for me. I didn't like that the book was told from Tyler's prospective only. It would have been nice to get Johnnie's reactions and emotions as well. I also didn't like how pushy Johnnie was to get Tyler to admit his desire and feelings for him. I did think the sex was hot and it was an easy read; just not what I've come to expect from this author. 3 stars
I thought Purgatory was boring. I didn't really care for Luc or Reese. I didn't think they had any chemistry, their feelings for each other didn't ring true, and I disliked how pushy Luc was. This bothered me in Heaven and it bothered me in this book. I was appalled that Luc would out Reese the way he did, even though Luc was doing it to "help" Reese. This is not a series that I plan on continuing. 2.5 stars
