My son has some problems and one of my aunts started me wondering about fragile x syndrome, but after reading this, I don't think that this is what he has. One good thing about fragile x (unlike autism) is that there is a blood/genetics test that you can do to find out for sure. This book is really sad. It's an emotional ride for the entire extended family. I'm glad I read it but probably won't read it again.
