The only other Chamberlain book I've read is THE GOOD FATHER and I loved it. So, when I got hold of a copy of this one, I thought I'd be in for a good read. How right I was!
There are so many twists and turns in this book right to the end that it makes your head spin. It is a wonderful and heartbreaking story about mothers and daughters and friends -- the female type. There were times when I just cried for the characters. That's how well portrayed they are by the author.
