Courthouse Indexes Illustrated

This book is meant to be a companion book to the author's Courthouse Research For Family Historians. It is a short little book (56 pages) and shows in detail various kinds of indexes in court houses. You would think all courthouses would use the same type of index but you wouldn't believe all the weird kinds that exist...such as the Cott, the Russell, the Graves, and many more. You might be able to figure out an index by looking at it, but this little book really breaks them down in detail, with excellent illustrations. I highly recommend it.
