For those of us who were so POed, and disappointed in the event in book 9, you might be glad to hear that book 10 is better.

I read this 292 page book in one day. I was so thrilled with the story line. When I read the last book in this series I was so disgusted with the Main characters choices in the last book, that I stopped reading the series. In this book 10, Helen's bad choices in book 9 are still an issue, and she has not told her newlywed husband, Phil what happened. Phil and Helen have started a Private detective agency, in Fort Lauderdale. They get 2 new cases. One client wants her to investigate your fitness crazed husband. This causes Helen to get an undercover job at a fitness center, with some pretty serious body builders. The other case is 25 year old suicide, that the surviving brother believes was a murder. All is well that ends well, but the bad choices in book 9 are still not resolved, and I see now why the issue might have been introduced as an ongoing plot. I dont want to say what it was in book 9 since it really is a spoiler, and you might want to be disappointed on your own time and in your own way. But like I said, it is adding to the ongoing story, so I see its purpose.

I wonder if the book 9 issue will be resolved in book 11 but I doubt it. I think it is a gimmick to keep our Main Character on the wrong side of the law, like she was in the book 1-8.
