This is the first Jennifer McMahon book I've read and all the good reviews I'd seen were correct. Jennifer captures the feelings of Kate Cypher's childhood adventures with a schoolmate who everyone called potatoe girl, and who was killed. And here it is 30 years later and another girl is killed and the past comes back to haunt. Good book and more McMahon books will follow on my reading list.
