Andrea Chesman does it again with a fabulous cookbook! Focusing on winter vegetables, Recipes from the Root Cellar, is broken down into simple recipes, soup and stews, dried bean recipes and more. Most of the recipes are vegetarian although this isn't strictly a vegetarian cookbook. When the recipes are not vegetarian, however, she often includes a substitution or alternative to make the recipe vegetarian. The only thing I noted was that a lot of her comments on the recipes are very similar to the ones in Garden Fresh Cookbook. With the exception of sauerkraut I didn't notice any duplicate recipes though. Highly recommend this one!
