This book beautifully captures the fractured relationships between siblings and their crazy, abusive mother. Growing up in racist rural Georgia is hard enough but add on a psycho mom who literally loves her children to death, well you will weep and rejoice for the heroine Tangy Mae. I enjoyed this book so much I find it hard to part with. But i'll share the word!
