I thought the first book she wrote was disappointing...but this second book was FRUSTRATING! Obviously a new, inexperienced author. Definitely not up to par as far as vampire/shifter romances go.....
She had the two main characters circling each other, teasing around their attraction the entire book...and only one measly kiss. The female lead, Kita, sucks. She is frustrating & annoying & weak & does nothing but cause trouble. (And never in a good way!)
I expected a lot more out of her Haven series--and I'm sorry I wasted the $15 each on them. They aren't worth $0.15.
If you want a good "urban fantasy" series stick with a well-written accomplished author--like Laurell Hamilton's 'Anita Blake' series. Otherwise, don't waste your time with second-rate knock offs like Kalayna Price.
