This was the driest, most technical book on AT that I've ever come across. I have been fortunate enough to take AT classes but the cost was very prohibitive, although my mother did say my posture improved immensely. I saw this book at a thrift store and purchased it. At least it only cost $1. There are limited pictures of poses and techniques, they are all drawings. Even the picture of the model on the front cover seems off. She seems to be slouching. I'm not sure if it's her hair that's the problem. Anyway, I've been taking actual yoga classes and they seem to be working. I know AT is not yoga but with the classes, and getting monthly chiropractic adjustments, I think I'm sitting and standing better than before. It's too bad that AT classes, even in a group situation, cost more than a series of yoga classes.
