I had to read this book for a book club.I really liked the book.Its a great historical book.Just beware there is foul language, bathroom talk,sex, and hurting and eating of dogs,so beware if your an animal lover.I liked how he told the story of the 2 men during the war in Leningrad and how they had to go find a dozen eggs so they could live.I liked reading about their ups and downs along the way and what they had to go through.I couldnt put the book down it was an easy read I read it in 3 days.I will be looking for other books this author has written.
