Book Review of Lost in a Book (Beauty and the Beast)

Lost in a Book (Beauty and the Beast)

I know a lot of people have complained that Belle is not herself in this book, but this takes place after she was attacked by the wolves and the Beast saved her. She's at a point where she's very conflicted. She wants to leave and go back to her father, but she at war with her emotions about the Beast and where he stands with her. It's a troubling time and she's very conflicted.

When she's offered a means to escape that conflict, to be given people to talk to instead of animated objects, some of her dreams to come true, it's hard to say no to that.

The story though was very well written, I loved the play of Love and Death coming together to play their game with their bets. The way things played out and how it all comes to head was very interesting. The ties to classic literature and mythology also gave the story a nice twist.

Fans of Beauty and the Beast will not be disappointed as this really adds to the story.
