This was a great read, where Nicholas, who had been busy guarding a princess for hundreds of years, finally gets to find a love of his own. I think you may enjoy it more fully if you've read the series, but it isn't like you won't understand what happening. I think we're all reading it for the happily ever after! Julia's faced some challenges in her life, but she's not a victim and I love how she "stole" an education. Strong heroine, super-strong hero and secondary characters we've met in previous books - I finished it in a day thanks to spring break travel - enjoy!
