As always I would recommend reading any of the C.J. Box series in order, as there is previous information and background needed to make this book in the series more enjoyable. That said it was suspense and intrigue to the full extent as usual. As with many of this authors books I have trouble putting the books down and find myself indulging. The character Joe Pickett and his family are fully involved in "Below Zero" as the past comes raging to the forefront. Something that was put to rest a long time ago-a family tragedy-has come alive again. This book ratchets forward with the usual twists and turns you would expect and doesn't end till the final page. The author keeps you in suspense and leaves you with some huge question marks till the very last page.
