Diane Whiteside is an excellent writer. She's created a new world of Texas vampires and their lust for life. Don Rafael is old fashioned in the truest sense (700 years existing on earth) and his new love interest is smart and sassy, if a bit guarded. Sex scenes are hot, but romance is a little stilted. This is the second Diane Whiteside book I have read, and she is definitely a talent to keep track of.
