An unusual collection of short stories makes up this early book written by the author of "Eat, Pray, Love." While the stories were mostly all very different, few had what I'd consider an ending. They were almost glimpses into the lives of vastly different people, with stories that had no real beginning and no real ending. I get that the idea is to make one think, and possibly conjure up your own finality to the stories, but something about this book left me wishing for more of the whole story of each of these personalities. This wasn't a bad book, but it wasn't immensely interesting either, especially when you know that just as you get into a character, his or her chapter is about to end.
