A very tender romance between a reserved, Native outlaw and an abused society wife on the run who finds her strength in his quiet presence. Although a tad tedious in the pacing and pages of overly descriptive inner reflections, the trust and love development was worth seeing it through to the end. I was most annoyed by the last minute appearance of several past characters. They felt thrown in merely to link all the stories together in the final chapters. But if you're looking for romance and adventure amidst the western frontier, then this is a good choice. 4 stars.
