Very descriptive view of fae kingdoms and inhabitants. October "Toby" Daye is a changeling with half fae and half human blood. A former PI, she know tries to survive in the human world by working nights in a grocery store. A sudden death throws her back into the fae world. Although I enjoyed this book, I really wanted it to grab me and keep me enthralled. It never quite hit that feeling. 3 stars
