Curiosity got the best of me and I finally read Fifty Shades of Grey. What did I think? I found the story's flow to be smooth. I liked the characters. And it was very interesting, no scratch that H-O-T! Apparently this is a "love it or hate it" kind of book. So I guess I would fall into the first. Looking back now on some of the reveiws I read I am confused. A lot of people that read this book must have assumed it was going to be a profound thought invoking peice of literature with a complex plot. That it is not. It is what it is. A smut book with a BDSM driven story that was originally intended to be twilight fan fic until it was reworked. I could definetly see the similarities between the characters of this book and Twilight. That was fine for me, because I loved Twilight. E L James writing style is similar to Stephanie Meyers, but the context is vastly different to put it mildly. Would recommend to fans of Twilight that are old enough to read these books. Prudes steer clear this book is not for the faint hearted.
