This a great read.It is book 3 of 3 of the Lake Emily series. Traci Dupree ties a number of farm families together in this series and book. The main character is Virginia a 78 year old widow, by two years who has a dehabilitating stroke. She is angry at herself, God and her family. She slowly recovers and realizes a whole community is there to support and help her. She sells her grandson her farm and he has to give up time with his wife and new baby son and Virginia to get all his farm work done and still has a bad crop and has to borrow money for next year. In this book several farm families lives are woven in and farming is not an easy living .It is a hard living, unlike other jobs you can put in long, long hours and if you do not get enough or too much rain your crop can be ruined through no fault of yours. Virginia's grandson Peter is angry with his father a symphony conductor for working too much, but when Peter has his own family he finds himself doing the same. This story and it's characters are woven together beautifully.I could not put the book down until I finished it. I love this book.
