I really enjoyed the story line of this book, its summary was what caught my attention in the first place. It was one that I ended up thinking about even after I put it down. I felt things for the characters as I read through their lives and that to me is a great story. Even though some might seem that the tale is sad, which it is...you can feel the "waste of life" but there are heart warming, and heart wrenching feeling throughout each person from different points of view. The author also shows you that there can still always be positives and love even after you think - for decades - there isn't.
