This is one of my all-time favorites. When someone asks me for a suggestion of what to read, this is the book I recommend. The author is a very good writer. I choose not to read her newer stuff, because she has ventured into some charecter choices that I don't connect with. This book along with "The Amethyst Heart" and "The Amber Photograph" are great choices for books to get lost in.
