Age R: 12+ (It says 14 and up but I really don't think it's inappropriate for ages twelve and thirteen, but I suppose it will be more interesting for people 14+)
Release Date: February 2009
Thoughts: Now this story is original! It is NOT your typical love/vampire story. I really recommend this one it's a nice, short read :) you will be rooting for this cute couple as you're reading the book. Doesn't the beautiful cover alone compel you to just go out and buy the book when it comes out? I'm sure the answer to that is yes hehe
Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side is the story of a girl(senior in high school) who finds out that she has a fiance, a guy who just so happens to be a VERY hot vampire named Lucius. Not only that but it turns out she's a Romanian princess. The guy is such an a-hole! How can she possibly end up marrying him? She's never even been kissed yet she's expected to marry a vampire!
I loved the story! It really got me hooked from the start and would not let go. Oh and I certainly got attached to the main hot vampire, Lucius. :)
The writing, the characters, everything about this book is great! I can't wait to read more from Beth Fantaskey because that girl can write a story! This book is a stand alone story so you will definitely be sad once it's over.
