When I began this book, I just could not seem to connect with it...any other author I would have given up on, but as Trisha Ashley is a favourite of mine I kept going and I am so glad I did! It is a fizzy, fairy-tale-ish bit of escapist fiction but a delightful, witty ride once the author hit her stride in this tale.
