I couldn't put it down, The MacNeill brothers are getting American mates so Cearnach finds out an American women he encountered over 100 years ago has come back into his life and he never lets her so. Elaine Hawthorn first met Cearnack when she was 16 years old in a foreign land right after her uncles were hanged for being pirates. He wanted to protect her then and now shes back and he will get that chance again. Elaine has been running her whole life from the evils of her forced mating and now she is a wealthy women and a place she feels at home in Scotland at Argent (sp?) Castle with the MacNeill Clan.
