This is my first book in this series, but I found it lacking. There was just too much prattle about romance and not enough about the mystery. This heroine doesn't have just one male interest. but two. I found their three-way discussions bordering on boring.

It is Christmas time and Lindsay's world is turned upside-down when her brother Jack comes for an unexpected visit and leaves a dead body behind in Lindsay's library. Lindsay wants to drop everything to find him. However, she doesn't realize the serious trouble Jack is in and that soon, Lindsay will be in it too.
