So far this year I've read over 80 books and this is by far my favorite. It's one of the best books I've read by a comedian. It's different than when most comedians/celebrities write a book. Yes, this book is funny but it's thoughtful and based on research. What resonates with me most is that Aziz explains the idea for this book came to him after having a negative experience with a woman he was interested in via text. He felt low so he went to an open mic night to talk about it and realized how much the audience members connected with him on this topic. And that's what this book is about, really: our connection (or lack of) with others and how we deal with that in our search for a mate. If you've done any online dating, this book will cut straight to your heart.
