I guess the genre for this might be romantic/suspense? I can't put it in either category

The story plods along at a very slow pace with nothing new in the story at all that you haven't already read by other authors in this same genre

The romance wasn't much (I hate romance books so for me that's okay) and the suspense wasn't up to par for me, there isn't anything thrilling or exciting about any of this book, she drags out the story for 388 pages and half of those you can skip

The story is an old one with nothing new added to make it a 'go to' author for me so I probably wont' be seeking anything else from Ivy
