I have read and re-read this book and it is finally time to pass it on.
Crusader Guy de Warenne overpowers his captors and with the help of a young girl's mother he sneaks Leila, his healing beauty, from the syrian prision where he assumes she is a slave. Leila is determined to go back home and hopes her English raised brother will aid her, only he has other plans and she finds herself running back into Guy's arms.
