Okay, first off, if you're a James Patterson fan and are looking for other novels from him, you first need to know that this is one of his love stories and not one of his thrillers.
I chose this book because I enjoyed Patterson's other love stories (Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas, and Sam's Letters to Jennifer). I was looking for more of the same. This fell pretty short of that mark.
This story was far too much fantasy for me... Far too much into the world of pretend. It's really a fairy tale. If you cut out the few pages of sex, it would be a children's book. I found it disappointing and not at all on par with his other two love stories.
If you are still curious and want to check it out, it's a quick read. I read the whole thing in about 2.5 to 3 hours.
If I were to look for something good to say about it, I would admit that there's positive message in it, and it ends on a happy note. (Don't all fairy tales?)
