Positives:
* I got into these novels written in poetry over the summer and this was pretty good. Even the title of each poem moves the story along.
* You get the guys perspective of a relationship that really shouldn't be allowed according to the social structure in high school.
* You can see that talent can take up places just like intelligence can.
* It's a very fast read because it is full of short poems.
Negatives:
* I'm not sure you can count this as a particularly happy book. I left feeling kinda blah. I had no real attachment to anything.
* It was not the best written book that I read over the summer, so it was a let down.
* I felt like I would make fun of the main character also, which is sad because I was never really mean in high school
