I really like this series and the narrator for the series on CD, Karen Ziemba, is great. In this sequel, Ally has been talked into becoming the media relations officer for the Yavapai County Sheriff's Department and not too well accepted by the rank and file. Of course, departmental politics are involved and friend, Dave, does his part to smooth the waters. But there are some mysteries to solve, relationships to heal, and some newer characters become a firmer, perhaps more important, part of the ongoing storyline which I look forward to seeing progress in the future.

But part of the charm of the series is its setting in Arizona - Sedona, Flagstaff, etc. and my husband and I listened to this particular book as we drove through the very heart of this part of the country. We found ourselves pointing out various places mentioned in this book and the previous four. Maybe not too entertaining to some, but hey! We're old!
