A great novel of a Scottish families' life on the Mallorcan island; growing oranages, learning another language & the embarassing moments they had when using the language in another culture; much like many of us have experienced. Kerr's writing is filled with humor and eccentric characters of the Mallorcan Spanish island. A great read!
