I am completely surprised how much I enjoyed this book. It was heartfelt, emotional and very very personal. I was never a particular fan of Nancy Reagan's, but, boy, she was certainly lucky in love.

She received hundreds upon hundreds of sweet love letters, Valentines, doodles and cards from Mr. Reagan over the course of their 50+ years, and many samples of them make up the bulk of this book, enclosed within her memories of their marriage, both public and private. In every note, his sweet devotion to her shined through humorously, deeply and utterly.

If you need an uplifting read, this is the book for you!
