It's getting harder and harder for Gwen Proctor to hold her family together and keep them safe. After the events at Wolfhunter River, Gwen thought life would get back to normal...or as close to normal as they can get. Gwen got her private investigator's license and has been hired to find Remy Landry, a student who disappeared without a trace nearly three years ago. As she works to find leads on the cold case, a drug-dealing Hillbilly family has a vendetta against her family. They threaten Gwen's partner Sam. If that isn't bad enough, the missing persons case she is working on connects to the events in Wolfhunter River.

Wow! I think this series gets stronger with each book. This was a riveting, fast-paced story. I was reading far into the night because I couldn't put this book down. The second half was non-stop action. I was actually wondering if some of the main characters would not make it out alive. I hope to start the next book soon. My rating: 5 Stars.
